Are VIP Tickets Limited?
Yes, VIP tickets are limited as to not oversaturate the perks and availability of pre-registration for classes.
Do I need to stay at the hotel to participate in the event?
Nope! The event is open to the public, you just need a ticket to the event!
I've never sewn bags before, is this a good event to attend?
Absolutely! While some of our classes will be geared toward the advanced sewer, many of our instructors and classes are here to help the beginners. This is a great time to drop in and learn something new!
Are machines provided for classrooms?
Yes! All machines, tools and thread are provided for each classroom. Check specific classes for anything that you need to supply as a student.
Can anyone come to the Meet n Greet on Thursday?
Meet n Greet is a great way to introduce yourselves to each other and get early check in! There will be a RSVP section on the site as we get closer so that we can have an idea of expected attendance!
When will classes be announced?
Classes will be announced before sign up is available on March 1st. VIP registration starts March 1st, and open registration is March 4th.
Do I need a ticket to register for classes?
No, each class will have it's own registration and class kit fee. Event tickets are specific to access vendor hall shopping, meet ups, demonstrations and other events.
Can children participate?
Yes! There will be classes available for our younger (10 and up) sewists! All children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult in classes and events.
What food options are there?
Sewcation will have a variety of food options available (TBA) and there are a plethora of restaurants available on site.

Is there a Parking fee?
Nope! FREE PARKING for everyone!!
Do I have to pay for the room in full?
No. South Point Hotel requires the first night as a deposit to reserve your room.
Where is the event on site?
Sewcation Sin City will be in the Exhibit Hall and nearby break out rooms. There will be more maps and instructions available closer to event date.
I'm local, do I have to stay on site?
Absolutely not! All the public is welcome to attend! Just need a shopping pass and/or sign up for classes!
How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
South Point Hotel offers a free shuttle to/from the airport. This must be scheduled in advance, please contact the hotel.
Is the hotel family friendly?
Aside from the event, there are amazing family friendly activities on site, including a bowling alley, movie theater, pool and more!
Are pre & post dates available?
Yes! Subject to availability.
What is the cancellation policy?
According to the Hotel website, cancellation policy is 72 hrs before your reservation. Please check with hotel for verification and any updates.
